I wanted to take a few moments to recommend Ideacom Midwest when you are looking to buy telephony related products. To begin with, the Sales staff at Ideacom is courteous and listen to you as a buyer, opposed to some of the sales staff we encountered that only seemed to want to sell one particular product. Our first point of contact with the salesmen impressed me because he came to our company and did an interview with many of our staff to find out what our institution wanted and needed from a phone system. Armed with the information he gathered from me (the project manager) and our employees, he then proposed a solution that he thought would fit our needs. This first step of research and picking the best product for our needs; I believe made the rest of the process run smoothly.
Once we decided on Ideacom as our vendor I was also impressed with the technicians and customer service representative assigned to our account. The install was managed by one individual at Ideacom. This is a huge benefit because it freed me up to move onto other projects and job duties. Our customer service representative would stay in close contact with me and keep me in the loop at all times. Because Ideacom’s team has had so much experience installing phone systems none of our employees ever felt overwhelmed with extra work as the install progressed. Along with the onsite training we received Ideacom’s competent instillation team made the install happen quickly and easily.

I just wanted to take a minute to pass along a big “Thanks” and
a job well done for your work and leadership on the installation
of our new Vodavi phone system.
As you know, the competition was fierce but there were several
items in your proposal which stood out. The system warranty,
competitive pricing, and system flexibility were very appealing,
but the way you came here to Global and actually observed how
we used our phones was unique among the competitors. Additionally,
we also received an Ideacom recommendation from our circuit
provider, which was based upon their experience in working
with the different phone vendors we were considering.
However, the real opportunity to excel came when our old phone
switch actually died before the replacement was ready. Ideacom
reacted to our crisis, and within three days had the new switch
installed and programmed. The follow up and subsequent
training has also been thorough and responsive. This
has been a true example of Customer Service.

was just reviewing our fixed asset list and noticed that
our phone switch is now ten years old. It was
hard to believe. I remember when we first purchased it from
Ideacom that one of the selling points was that it was built
on open architecture and was modular in design so that as we
grew, the switch could grow with us and not become another
antiquated piece of electronics. Over the years, we’ve
doubled our number of staff, added new buildings and made major
renovations to others, but the phone switch is still performing
wonderfully. Technology has changed and we were able to install
Voice over IP and now offices can move around without great
gnashing of teeth over displaced phone numbers and connections.
Unified Messaging has to be one of the best inventions of the
decade. The ability to check e-mail and voice messages at the
same time is fantastic.
While I might sing the praises of all of the quality hardware
and software that Ideacom has provided us over the years,
the best of products have no value without qualified
support. Your
technicians have always been prompt, knowledgeable and courteous.
The sales staff listen to our needs, and fit them to a product
or service; not the other way around.
Max, the years have slipped by

The Reuther Investment Co., (auto dealerships)
have been working with Ideacom Midwest, Inc. for about 20 years,
of course in those earlier days it was called Capital GBS.
Since I have been at Reuther Ford, Inc. for the previous 12
years, I can only speak of our recent history. We have stayed
with Ideacom because of the great service and prices we received
from Capital GBS initially. But they have not disappointed,
in fact I have not experienced much change, because a lot of
the same people are still there.
We recently updated our phone system about eight months ago,
which at the time was about ten years old. We were looking
to install a Customer Relations Department and needed more
capabilities in our existing phone system. Because our existing
phones were compatible with the new updates we did not have
to spend a lot of money buying some hardware required of a
new system. But other than a few glitches that occurred along
the way, which were quickly and professionally resolved, the
installation went well. I believe that the working relationship
they have with Birch Telecom, whom we use as our primary phone
company, helped in the transition. Max Munder, Lynn Orlando
and all of the other people who helped in the installation
made it a pleasure to work with. Max and Lynn came up with
some very good ideas to help our system work more efficiently
and effectively, giving us less noise, through reduced paging
and enhancing our customers experience in the showroom and
our service drive areas. Calls are answered in a much more
orderly fashion and very few are now lost or ignored.
I was especially pleased with the flexibility of their employees
when changes were required, because something didn't give us
the desired effect when the actual installation was done. Everyone
was more than willing to come up with a solution that would
work. I have to admit I was skeptical at first of some of the
new things we were incorporating, but on the whole most worked
at presented. I am very pleased with the service and promptness
they deliver.

Potter has been a customer of
